Logging
How to log poker sessions
The timer does not attach to the table. You decide when it starts and when it is saved. Each row you close (Cash, Spins, MTT, live or study) is a comparable point for history, edge and the planner.

How to log a poker session
Steps to open, pause and save a Cash, Spins, MTT, live or study session in PokerView.
Pick a format
Open the tracker and choose Cash, Spins, MTT, live or study. Online formats can include a poker room.
Decide on warmup
If you warm up, mark it. If not, skip it. The product stores that so it can compare days with and without warmup when the sample exists.
Measure time
Start the timer. Pause and resume keep the measured time. Until you save, there is no row in history.
Save the context
When you close, review duration, room, stake, focus and tilt. Those fields are what you can segment later.
What you can log
Cash, Spins, MTT, live poker and study. Study counts hours, not table results. Each session stores the duration the timer measured and the context you add when you save: room, stake, self-reported focus and tilt.
You can keep more than one session open. The tracker does not guess the table. If you change format, you open another row.

How a session is opened
The flow is short on purpose. The product does not fill the row for you. If you leave without saving, that measurement does not enter history. The steps are at the top of this guide.
Repeat the last one
If the browser or history still has the last finished session, a control starts it again with the same format and room. It saves you from rewriting the same setup every day. It does not copy results or the previous tilt.
What you can look at later
History, results, edge and the planner read these rows. They segment by time of day, duration, tilt, focus and format when the sample is large enough.
The coach applies thresholds to those numbers. It does not use an artificial intelligence model and it does not tell you that you will win. A difference between Tuesday and Saturday is a lead to review, not a recipe.
Limits of this log
- It is not a HUD and it does not read the pot.
- It does not capture live hands or connect to each room on its own.
- Focus and tilt are self-reported. There are no sleep or mood fields.
- A difference between time of day or duration is a lead, not a proven cause.
